We will screen films by Martin McDonagh and John McDonagh, London Irish playwrights and filmmakers who produce complex and thought-provoking dark comedies, many set in Ireland. For this class, we will view together and discuss three films, Calvary (2014), Three Billboards Outside Ebbing Missouri (2017), and The Banshees of Inisherin (2022).
