Did you play canasta with your grandmother? Would you like to brush up on your skills or maybe teach it to your own grandchildren? Let's have a great time learning and playing this easy, fun card game. The variation taught will be American Canasta. This hands-on class will guide you through each concept of the game and teach rules and strategies. Class size is limited so all players can have one on one attention. Let's play!

Ann Wilcox

has taught at least sixteen people how to play canasta in the past several years. After taking a canasta class to brush up on her skills several years ago, she first taught a group of seven to play in Sarasota, FL. More recently, having moved back to Chestnut Hill two years ago, she taught a group of four who now are regular weekly players. Her background is teaching, library and foundation work.
