Floral Watercolor Painting

This four-week watercolor series explores flowers through shifting approaches to observation and expression, working from fresh seasonal blooms and a limited palette. Across the course, we’ll move from structured study to more intuitive painting, building confidence through water, form, and process: exploring value and wash, simplified shapes and composition, negative space, and, finally, loose wet-on-wet painting that allows for spontaneity and flow. No art experience necessary.

A $20 materials fee (paid in class) covers fresh flowers for painting subjects. Please bring your own watercolors, brushes, and paper — a suggested supply list will be emailed after you register.
