Kamal Bostic-Smith

is a member of the Screen Actors Guild and an award-winning independent filmmaker who has written, directed, edited, and served as cinematographer on five film projects: A Girl Named Blank, Out There, Safe Distance, Holiday, and Flipped. In addition to filmmaking, Kamal teaches drama classes connected to his productions, helping aspiring actors develop their craft on set and in the classroom. He is also a drama and tap dance instructor. Kamal holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Community Engagement from Temple University.
