We'll look at some lesser-known musical movies of the golden age, featuring stars like Betty Grable, Bing Crosby, Rita Hayworth, Fred Astaire, and a few surprises. Students will see films they're unlikely to see elsewhere, along with historical context and background information about the films and the people who made them. Each film will be accompanied by cartoons and other comedic short films of the time period.
