Inspired by a Chinese desk owned by Wyck resident Ann Haines (1793-1869), join us for a conversation about Wyck’s global stories on a special tour focusing on Asian export objects and plants from the 18th-20th century in the historic house and garden collection. This specialty tour is based on research funded by a Decorative Arts Trust Failey Grant in 2025 and will also discuss new conservation processes performed on Wyck’s unique Chinese desk.

is the Executive Director of Wyck with over 12 years of experience in historic site management. She holds an MA in History from Virginia Tech.
