Looking for a fun way to stay active and relieve stress? Step into the rhythm with this beginner-friendly tap dance class! We’ll cover basic tap vocabulary and technique through center warm-ups and lively combinations. Along the way, you’ll also learn some fascinating facts about the history of tap, and its unique connection to Philadelphia. No experience necessary, just bring your enthusiasm!

Corinne Karon

graduated from The University of the Arts in Philadelphia with a BFA in Modern dance. She has tap danced on all the continents in the world, including Antarctica! Corinne performs throughout the country with Tap Team II for Young Audiences and has begun performing with Germaine Ingram. She teaches on a regular basis at the University of the Arts, Rowan University, Bryn Mawr College, Wissahickon Dance Academy, Chester Valley Dance Academy, Calabrese Center For Dance, and for Men on Tap.
