Beginning Piano for Adults

Improve your listening, memorization and problem-solving skills, while learning to play beautiful music! This course will cover the essentials: clefs, note reading, fingering, counting/meter, dynamics, body/hand position, and basic music theory. A look into the piano will help you understand how this classical instrument works as well. You will gain a sense of accomplishment in the multitasking aspects of playing the piano. Simple at-home exercises will reinforce the class work, and daily practice is strongly encouraged. Students will need to bring their own keyboards to the class.

$10 materials fee payable to the instructor at the first class for a piano lesson book.
