Beginning Cello

Join our immersion class designed for cello enthusiasts. You'll learn to hold the cello and bow comfortably, explore techniques like "pizzicato" and "arco," and use your senses to create pitch, tone, rhythm, and dynamics. Whether you're a curious beginner or considering ongoing lessons, you'll enjoy producing the cello's beautiful sound. Live music by a professional cellist will accompany your journey, and no prior musical background or reading skills are required. Plenty of time for questions is available. This class is for those who love the cello and want to experience playing it firsthand.

The instructor is eager to help facilitate the rental of cellos for this class. She will contact you as soon as you enroll, to advise and guide you with information on options for obtaining a rental cello. Please do not under any circumstances order a cello in any price range online!
