Effective Public Speaking

Does the thought of speaking in front of others make you anxious? Do you have to make a presentation for the first time? Are you trying to get yourself out there and not sure how to start a conversation with people you don't know? Whether you're a college student that needs to make a presentation, a business leader that needs to get their point across to their team, or a meeting facilitator, this class is for you. We will talk about the components of effective public speaking, the do's and don'ts, and how to create your message and communicate effectively. You will create a presentation or bring one along and practice it in class. Materials will be provided.
