Intro to the Jam

Tired of singing alone in the shower? Been meaning to dust off your instrument? Come and jam with us! Play with other “closet musicians” and learn to make joyful noise together, with the help of some experienced neighborhood jammers. No music reading experience required, but a basic understanding of melody and chord progressions will get you on your way. We’ll organize a playlist before class based on student’s interests, so you’ll be able to familiarize yourself with the tunes, and recommend your favorites. A laptop, tablet, smartphone is recommended to download chord charts that we select at the jam.
