Join Jackie Jonas for a demonstration and tasting of some of her recipes featured in her memoir/cookbook "Cooking from Memory." Jackie will walk you through the preparation of some recipes from the "cooking up the world" chapter including vegetable couscous with harissa sauce. You will also sample a Mediterranean salad, shakshuka, and Southern lemon ginger tea. Jackie has worked to make healthier and vegetarian friendly meals that still delight the taste buds. Recipes will be distributed for each dish and you will leave with a spice kit for making the dishes on your own. The class meets at Jackie's home and spaces are limited.
