Join Troy Bynum and Kris Soffa for a Spring Migration Bird Walk in Houston Meadow. Spring migration brings warblers, vireos and thrushes as they stop at Houston Meadow which lies along the North East Migratory Flyway. We will walk a loop trail through the meadow and woods with a moderate incline. This is an easy entrance into different upland habitats that support a variety of birds. No birding experience is necessary and if you don't have binoculars? Don't worry! Extra pairs will be provided or you may borrow Philadelphia Free Library Birding Backpacks at Andorra or Falls of Schuylkill Libraries for 3 weeks with your library card! Dress for the weather with long pants, sunscreen, water and snack.
