Gerry Schweiger	a long time Mt. Airyite, is passionate about history and came to his love for the Wissahickon Valley in retirement.
Friends of the Wissahickon	, founded in 1924, is a 2,000-member nonprofit organization that works in partnership with Philadelphia Parks & Recreation to restore historical park structures, eliminate invasive plant species, and restore trails throughout Wissahickon Valley Park. Learn more at fow.org.
