For the serious players who would like to advance their Mah Jongg skills, this class offers an opportunity to gain insight into playing strategies and the finer points of this fascinating and challenging game. The focus remains on fun and meeting players with the common goal of elevating their skill level. Prerequisites include possessing an understanding the basics of play and the possession of a current year NMJL Mah Jongg card (preferably large print).

If you currently do not possess the 2025 National Mah Jongg League playing card, please place your order online as soon as possible with the National Mah Jongg League, NMJL.com. I recommend ordering the $15 Large Print playing card.

Drive way entrance is off of Bethlehem Pike, exiting onto Chestnut Hill Avenue. There is 2 hour free parking on Bethlehem Pike, Chestnut Hill and Summit Ave. The Chestnut Hill East and West trains terminate about a block away. Septa's 23 bus ends 1/2 block from the church while the 77, 94, 134 and L buses all stop within a block of the church. Barbara Delp

, a retired attorney, has been teaching Mah Jongg for well over a decade. She enjoys introducing new players to the intricacies of the game and the basic rules of the National Mah Jongg League as well as teaching the finer points and strategies of this challenging game to players looking to advance their skills.
