This class leads gently into basic meditation using guided imagery, focused breathing, body relaxation and mindfulness techniques. Learn and practice a 2,500-year-old "loving kindness" meditation. This will create a more open and sensitive relationship with yourself and others. These skills will help calm your mind, control your emotions and develop better concentration. Wear loose, comfortable clothing; bring a pillow, a yoga mat or blanket and a notebook.
