Police encounters are scary for civilians and police alike, and can turn tragic. Part of the problem is that citizens don't know their rights. Learn how to "deal professionally" with police if they stop you: when, if ever, to consent to a search, how to answer police questions, how to "arrest proof" yourself, and maintain your most important freedoms. This isn't intended to help people commit and get away with crimes; it's to help all of us achieve better relations with police in the critical moments when it matters most.
