Back in ancient times, jewelry was not merely worn for adornment. Instead, the colors and stones were chosen for specific reasons. For example, the color red has a stimulating action on our heart and circulation, while blue is linked to the throat and thyroid gland and is very soothing. Each of us responds differently to various colors, minerals, and stones. During this basic jewelry-making class, learn how to create earrings and a bracelet with a professional look using wire, clasps, and crimp bead covers. You will also have access to a wide selection of colors and shapes of gemstones, including unique glass and wood beads.
