Join Jackie Jonas for a demonstration and tasting of some of her favorite Southern and African recipes. Jackie will walk you through the preparation of Ghanaian Red-red, then you will have an opportunity to taste a collection of Southern and African dishes which Jackie has worked to make healthier and vegetarian friendly including: red-red, collard greens, corn bread and jollof rice. Recipes will be distributed for each dish and you will leave with a spice kit for making the dishes on your own. The class meets at Jackie's home and spaces are limited.
