Let's take a look at the silent dramatic films of the 1920's. The work done by such artists as Lon Chaney, Lillian Gish, Mary Pickford, and Douglas Fairbanks continues to captivate audiences more than a century after they were made. Each film will be accompanied by vintage short films of the time period. Students will learn about filmmaking of the silent era and will see rare films they are unlikely to see elsewhere.
