She has performed for Nelson Mandela, and has graced the stage with Pete Seeger and Miriam Makeba among many other great artists. Sharon is most well known for her groundbreaking "Peace Train Project," which broke apartheid barriers in 1993 and is the subject of the recent award-winning documentary "When Voices Meet."
